Jathan Offutt

Hello, my name is Jathan Offutt. I am 16 years old and I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m a 10th grade student from Nashville Big Picture High School. I am an honors student and I do well in school. I need your help with a big project that I’m doing. You may or may not have heard about People to People organization but I am involved with that. I am looking to be in the Student Ambassador Program. Student Ambassadors learn about other cultures, engage in fun activities, and meet local citizens. This program creates so many college opportunities for me and college is a big part of my future.

 

There is a trip that comes with this program. Its 19 day across the world to Spain, Italy, and France. I’ve never traveled before so this would be a new experience for me. In order to go on the trip I have to raise around $7,100. I have been struggling with this. This is where you guys come in. I've been trying to raise money for the program but it's been a struggle.

 

I've done T-shirt ideas, selling candy, making cards, babysitting, etc. I need serious help. I have also contacted big companies and asked for sponsorships. But it is not looking good. I want this so bad because Iwas such a great student! I study hard, work hard, try to achieve all my goals, and I strive for college and beyond. This trip is the summervacation of my dreams! Working and helping others, hanging out with other teens that share same interests with me, exploring new and exciting things, and travel to different countries. I really want toexperience this but I really need help raising money. If you all could please donate $5, $10, or $15. That would mean a lot to me.
